The Giants return from the pre-season game against St. Helens. The first try just came in the first 6 minutes of the game, it came from Michael Witt and it was converted by Anthony McCormack. The Giants return with the victory over St. Helens, the score was 35-34.
The game went into over time with the score at 34-34, it was the quick thinking from Anthony McCormack kicking a field goal from over 50 meters. The crowd followed the balls movement as it flew over the black dot.
The man of the match was Anthony McCormack. Unfortunatly with the injury to Tony Clubb with a broken arm, he will be out for at least 3-4 months but he will be back with fire in his belly and a fierce competive streak.
